Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It provides us with aggregate, anonymous usage statistics (e.g., page views, referral sources) to help improve the service.

How It Works

When you load a file into InstantFileTools, it is read directly into your browser's memory using the File API. All operations are performed using JavaScript libraries running locally. The processed output is generated in-browser and downloaded directly to your device. At no point does your file data touch our servers.

Third-Party Libraries

We load open-source libraries from CDNs (such as cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net) to power features like PDF manipulation, spreadsheet parsing, and image processing. These CDN requests are standard web requests that do not include your file data.

Local Storage

InstantFileTools may use your browser's localStorage to save non-sensitive preferences (e.g., theme settings). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted.
